Job Tracker: your job search in Germany, in one place
Search the Bundesagentur, job boards and company career pages at once, track every application, and write letters that use only what's in your CV.
Job hunting in Germany means checking ten sites, copying the same details again and again, and writing a new Anschreiben for every application. Job Tracker does the tedious parts, so you can spend your time on the applications that matter.
What it does
- Searches many sources at once: the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Arbeitnow, remote-job boards and company career pages such as Bosch and Continental.
- Ranks results and shows why: "title: Werkstudent (working student) · 4 km from Karlsruhe · posted this week". It understands German and English variants, so "Werkstudent" also finds "Working Student".
- Tracks every application: saved, applied, interview, offer, with a reminder to follow up after 10 days.
- Keeps a copy of every job ad, because ads disappear once a position is filled, often right before your interview.
- Writes your motivation letter in the ad's language, using only facts from your CV, and lists what the ad asks for that your CV doesn't show.
- Prepares you for interviews: likely questions with answers built on your experience, and practice interviews with feedback.
- Points you to the rest: for sites it doesn't search, like LinkedIn and StepStone, one-click links open their search filled in with your keywords and city.
Private by design
Everything stays on your computer. Before your CV goes to the AI, your name, address, phone and email are replaced by placeholders. They're added back only when you export your letter. Every button that uses the AI shows its cost, and asking for the same letter twice costs nothing.
How to get it
Job Tracker is a desktop app for Windows and Mac, now in beta. Beta testers just install it and sign in: no API key, no setup.
What's next
- A daily search with new jobs by email.
- Better ranking from full job descriptions, and a filter for jobs in your field.
- Later, a light phone companion for new jobs and application status. Your CV stays on your computer.
